St. Peter, MN - Walter Charles Woyke (Chuck), age 76, of St. Peter, MN, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Born in Waseca, MN to Shirley (Kopischke) and Walter William Woyke, he graduated from Waseca High School, then graduated with honors from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter in 1971. He landed his dream job at the St. Peter State Hospital, where he worked until retirement. He married the love of his life, Debbie, and they bought a little slice of heaven on Lake Emily, outside of St. Peter, where they held jam sessions with their friends, playing music and enjoying lake life. After going their separate ways, Chuck remained at the lake, reading books, enjoying the solitude of his quiet life.

He is survived by his three sisters, Kathy, Susie, and Patti, who will remember him as their protective big brother, with his wry smile, sharp wit, and intellectual conversations.

In accordance with his wishes, no formal services will be held.
