Sr T. was my 8th grade teacher at Sacred Heart School in St. Paul, MN. 1954-55. She was and has been a mentor and life-long friend ever since. "Joy" and "Positive Attitude" are spelled "Sister, now Saint, Therese Even, SSND."

She was special to me, even though I did not have her for a teacher at Sacred Heart, In St. Paul. I knew her as a promoter of vocations. Both my older brothers went off to seminary, but never became priests. I had Sister Geovonie (sp) in 8th grade. Went to Sacred Heart Grade 4 - 8.

I think she had a reputation of never letting go of the bowling ball in the basement bowling alley. They never had to dust the lanes, thanks to her.... (smile)
