Sharon and friends began Bethel Pre-School Learning Center and she served in that capacity for twenty-six years, until 1993. Later she worked at "Banks" for approximately ten years and enjoyed serving the workers and customers. She also participated in a bowling team the "Svenska Flickas" for several years.

She loved to travel and took numerous family trips within her country. She also took several mission trips to Ukraine, as well as many family trips to Sweden.

Sharon loved her Swedish heritage. She spoke Swedish quite fluently and continued to take Swedish language courses at Mankato State. Consistent with her Swedish heritage she loved coffee and sweets. She served coffee and donuts to the congregation of Bethel Baptist Church for many years.

Vic, Dave, Steve and Mark. I'm so sorry for your loss. Sharon was such a special lady. I always enjoyed our conversations. My parents loved her like a sister. I'm sure they were there to welcome her into heaven. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
