Long-time resident of St. Peter went to be with Jesus on July 12th, 2010. Rosie was born September 1st, 1935 to Richard Johnson and Elenore (Johnson) Curtis in Litchfield, MN. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandma and great grandma, and a friend to all. She worked as a cook in the W.A.C for 2 years until she married Merle Schroeder on March 28th, 1956 in Fort Monroe, VA. Rosie was full of life and loved sharing memories and photographs with everyone. She had a contagious laugh and a smile that could brighten anyone's day. She will be remembered for her endless love shown to family and friends, her spunky songs and catchy phrases. Rosies's family would like to thank the staff and caregivers of the Benedictine Living Community of St. Peter, whom Rosie adored and spoke of fondly. Rosalyn is preceded in death by both parents and a step-father, Homer Curtis. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Merle; daughters Sheree (Dan) Gilbertson, Lisa Rogers; son Ricky (Deb); grandchildren Paul, Sam (Maggie), Andy (Kim), Sarah (Oscar), Caleb, Luke, Micah; great-grandchildren Dyllan, Chloe, Josiah, Benjamin and Jacob.
