Madelia, Minnesota - Robert "Bob/Casey" Lee Schultz age 94, of Madelia, MN died on February 8, 2025, at Madelia Health Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church-Madelia, on Friday, February 21, 2025 at 11:00 am. Visitation will take place at the church one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Madelia. Military honors will be provided by the Madelia Area Veterans Honor Guard.

Robert Lee "Bob/Casey" Schultz was born in Beauford Township, MN on October 6, 1930 to Henry and Iva (Ward) Schultz. Bob served in the United States Navy during the Korean conflict as an aerial photographer from June 1948 to June 1952 and was honorably discharged. On September 29, 1958, he was married to Arlene (Coult) Schultz in Madison Lake, MN. The couple had two children, Brenda and Brian whom they raised in Madelia. Bob worked as an auto body mechanic in Madelia until his retirement. He served on the Madelia Fire Department for 27 years. Bob was also a member of the American Legion Post 19 and served on the honor guard for many years. On Feb 9, 2000, Bob married Ethel (Laingen-Ulmen) Schultz and enjoyed years of travel and companionship together.

Bob is survived by his wife, Ethel Schultz; daughter, Brenda Schultz; son, Brian (Sarah Wimmer) Schultz; grandsons, Kahlan and Kasey Schultz; granddaughter, Amber Siem; great-grandchildren, Austen Hansen, Alaya Smith; step son, Tom (Becca) Ulmen; step daughter, Terese (Kent) Peterson; step grandchildren, Jacob Peterson, Elyse, Meara and Piper Ulmen. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Iva Schultz; first wife, Arlene Schultz; brothers, Floyd, Wilbert, Gerald, Wesley, and sister, Delores.
