Richard R. Wondra
Richard R. Wondra, age 76 of Lake Washington, died Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 20, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Marysburg. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m., service at the church on Friday. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Richard Wondra was born September 29, 1942 to George and Helen (Kotek) Wondra in New Prague, MN. He was united in marriage to Rosemary Traxler on March 14, 1961. Richard worked as a self-employed mechanic on large trucks.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Marysburg. Richard enjoyed NASCAR and fishing.
Richard is survived by his wife, Rosemary of St. Peter, MN; three children, Bernie Wondra of Carver, MN, Ted (Andrea) Wondra of Mankato, MN, Theresa (Tom) Wermerskirchen of Cape Coral, FL; three grandchildren, Danielle (Josh) Harris, Ross Hoseck, Elizabeth Wondra; great-grandson, Brayden Harris; brother, Harold (Ellen) Wondra of LeCenter; many nieces, nephews and Rosemary's family.
Preceded in death by his parents, son, Larry in 2000, granddaughter, Tera Hoseck in 2019.
