Phyllis Jeanne Ronnei, age 76, of Shoreview and formerly of Mankato and Saint James, Minnesota, passed away January 24, 2024, at her home.

A Celebration of life will be held at a future date. A private burial will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Saint James. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home in Saint James. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com.

Phyllis was born in Saint James, Minnesota on October 21, 1947, to Clifford and Ardella (Wiederhoeft) Ronnei. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Barb. Phyllis is survived by her sisters, who will greatly miss her, Ardis Ronnei, Mavis (Dave) Post, Muriel (Norm) Seidenstein, and Peg Puhl; nephew, Ryan Post; and nieces, Eleza Seidenstein and Jennifer Weestrand.

Phyllis lived her best life. She loved animals and watching sports, especially the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. She enjoyed going to church, on field trips, traveling and working at MRCI in Mankato. She was a very social person who enjoyed people and she had a great sense of humor. Phyllis taught us how to be happy because she took joy in simple things.

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who took care of Phyllis, especially Axis on Glenhill where she lived her last days in comfort, surrounded by people who cared about her.
