North Mankato, MN - Nanci Rossow, 64, passed away on May 8, 2026 at Birchwood Cottages.

She was born in Minneapolis, MN on January 26, 1962 to M.D. (Tim) and Etta Rossow. The youngest one of the family, she spent her early years with Mom running the household and making sure there was lots of books to read, homemade cookies to eat and love to share. Pets were always nearby. She later graduated from Mankato West High School in 1980, Mankato State University with a degree in Foods and Nutrition, and discovered her passion for the outdoors (camping, fishing, sunsets) and always sharing a smile. She married Jeff Yock in 1988 and they divorced when Andy and Amanda were just starting school. She is survived by her children, a sister Vicki Gauker, and two brothers Steve and Al Rossow. Her parents and one brother Mark preceded her in death. A remembrance get-together will be held at Woodland Hills Funeral Home on Friday, May 22nd from 4-7 PM.
