Mankato, MN - Michael "Mike" Otto Wagner, age 75, of Mankato, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on October 13, 2025. Mike was born on October 7, 1950, in Alexandria Minnesota, and grew up in nearby Osakis.

Mike will be remembered for his dedication to helping persons with disabilities gain successful employment, his passion for baseball, and how much he loved his family.

Mike married the love of his life, Cynthia "Cindy", in 1976, and together they raised their children, Shanna and Anthony "Tony".

Mike worked for the State of Minnesota for nearly 40 years. First in Job Service, then in Vocational Rehabilitation Services. He also volunteered his time coaching youth baseball.

Mike is survived by his loving family: his wife, Cindy; his daughter, Shanna (Charles); his son, Tony (Courtney); grandchildren, Henry, Hugo, Beatrix, Jack, Vinny, Zoe, Zaxton and Zaylee; and sisters, Sandra, Kathi (Donnie), Pat (Joel) and Therese (Doug). Mike was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Michelle; his parents, Otto and Dona Wagner; and his brother, Brian.

A Memorial Service will be held on November 6 at 11:00 a.m., visitation from 9:30-11:00 at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 105 Hosanna Drive, Mankato, MN. The family kindly requests donations to Hosanna Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor's choosing.
