Mankato, MN - Mary Jo Hiller, 87, of Mankato, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026. A graveside service will be held at Woodland Hills Memorial Park in the spring. Online condolences may be left at woodlandhillsfh.com.

Mary Jo was born June 29, 1938, in Jamestown, ND, to Ralph and Dorothy (Koeing) Fischer. She graduated from Jamestown High School and was united in marriage to Arthur Hiller on February 14, 1958, in Jamestown. Mary Jo worked in office and clerical roles at TV Signal and the Mankato Clinic. She was an avid fan of local sports teams and could often be found cheering for Mankato West, the Moondogs, the Mavericks, and particularly the Vikings. She also loved dancing at the Kato Ballroom.

She is survived by her sons, Tim Hiller of Las Vegas, NV, and Jay Hiller of Fort Collins, CO; daughter, Shelly Hiller of Sandpoint, ID; grandchildren, Jordan Hiller, Jessica Hiller, Colton Donahue, and Kaylee Donahue; great-grandson, Greyson Smith; sisters, Carol Oswald of Longmont, CO, and Jeanne Otterstrom of North Branch; and many nieces and nephews.

Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Hiller, and her sister, Diane Massine
