Marjory Jean Fleming Obituary

North Mankato, MN - Marjory (Tolberd) Fleming was born March 2, 1927, in Mankato, Minnesota, to Fred and Ethyln (Lang) Tolberd. Marjory married Wendell Fleming and moved to Garden City where they farmed the family farm and raised their three children. They moved to Mankato in May of 2002.

Marjory enjoyed flower gardening, crafting, reading, socializing, and laughing. She and Wendell enjoyed winters in Arizona where she learned the process of painting and glazing pottery; she finished several pieces over the years.

Marjory Fleming, age 99, died on June 7, 2026, at Oak Terrace Memory Care in North Mankato where she had resided since November of 2018. She is survived by: children, Kris (Louise) Fleming of Maple Grove, MN; Barbara Taylor, of New Prague, MN; Marvin (Barbara) Fleming of Garden City, MN; grandchildren: Jason, Josh and Jake Fleming; Ryan Taylor; Jesse, Christopher, and Lauren Fleming; six great-grandchildren: Hadley and Rhett Fleming; Makenly and Ryker Taylor; Robbie and Natalie Fleming; sister JoAnn Probach.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Ethyln Tolberd, husband Wendell, and brother Grant Tolberd.

Visitation and time of sharing will be held Monday, July 13, 11:00am-12:00pm, at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be in the Garden City Cemetery. www.mankatomortuary.com
