Services are at Salem Lutheran Church-Madelia, on Tuesday, February 20 at 11am, visitation one hour prior.
The clergy will be Rev. Greg Volbrecht. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Madelia.

Lynnette Gay (Borkenhagen) Swenson was born to Clarence and Erna Borkenhagen on January 9, 1949 in Fairmont, MN. She attended Antrim Lutheran School through 8th grade and was a graduate of Truman High School. She married Leon Neppl. Lynnette married Curtis Swenson on February 26, 1988 at the First Lutheran Church in Madelia. Lynnette worked for Vandenburgh Foods in 1973 until 1999, when she began working at Madelia School food services until her retirement in 2011.
Lynnette is survived by her children, Lisa Weed of St Paul, MN, Joel (Barbara) Neppl of Clarksville, TN; step children, Bryan (Michelle) Swenson of Colorado Springs, CO, Kim (Bill) Whitehead of St. James, MN, Malissa (David) Johnson of Schofield, WI, Lana (Jesus) Lopez of Madelia, MN; 5 grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren; sisters, Janice (Howard) Shane of Sioux Falls, SD, Brenda Borkenhagen of Mankato, MN, Lois Borkenhagen of Sioux Falls, SD. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Leon Neppl; second husband, Curtis Swenson; parents, Clarence and Erna Borkenhagen, and step grandson, Eric McMullen.
