LeRoy Ronald Siebenbruner
LeRoy R. Siebenbruner, age 91, of Mankato was called home to be with his Lord, Sunday, September 29, 2019 in Mankato.
Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 19, 2019, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Mankato with Rev. Adam Matheny, officiating. Visitation will be one hour before service at the church on Saturday. Private family interment will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Mankato. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Diabetes Assocation.
LeRoy was born March 30, 1928, in Springfield, Minnesota to William and Ruth Siebenbruner. The family moved to St. Peter where he graduated from high school in 1946. He enlisted in the Navy serving in the South
Pacific area during WWII, returning to St. Peter after discharge.
LeRoy was united in marriage to Fern Tollefson on May 6, 1950. They were blessed with three children. Moving to Mankato, LeRoy was employed with Continental Can Company for 32 years as a machinist.
LeRoy was an avid hunter and fisherman for 51 years.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his wife Fern of 66 years; his parents; brothers, Neil and Wayne; sister, Donna Oslund. LeRoy is survived by his three children, Dale (Gayle) Siebenbruner of Dundee, Jean (Patrick) Dougherty of Albuquerque, NM, and Nancy (Randy) Rigdon of Mankato; six grandchildren; three step-granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Blessed be his memory of a loving and caring person with a strong Christian faith.
