Mankato, MN - Larry Paul Frederick, 72, Mankato, died Saturday November 15, 2025 at Mapleton Community Home. Memorial services will be held at 11am Thursday, December 4, 2025 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Mankato. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the services at the church. Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.

Larry was born February 14, 1953 in Mankato to Victor and Elaine (Bolin) Frederick. He attended Mankato areas schools and then worked assembling boats for Kayot Boat Co and then Alumacraft Boat Co over 29 years. Larry also worked as a custodian at Jesus Loves Me Learning Center for many years. He was united in marriage to LaVonne Miller at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church on January 27, 1979. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, and going to coffee hour with friends. Larry enjoyed spending time with family especially his granddaughters, who were his pride and joy. He loved his Dr. Pepper and "sweet treats". Larry was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church.

He is survived by wife, LaVonne Frederick of Mankato; sons, Luke (Laura) Frederick of Mankato and Lance Frederick of Mankato; granddaughters, Grace and Madison Frederick; sister, Mary Ann (LaVern) Shelton of North Mankato; brother in - law, Parry (Linda) Miller of Mankato; sister in-laws, Jackie (Scott) Birr of Mankato and Jill (Jeff) Becker of Mankato; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Larry is preceded in death by parents; parents in-law, brothers, Dale, Donald, and Terry Frederick; sisters, Mary Lou Wolters and Mary Jo Shelton
