Mapleton, MN - Janet L. Belgard, age 83 of Amboy passed away on June 24 at Mapleton Community Home, Mapleton.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 11:00 at the First Presbyterian Church in Amboy. Burial will be with immediate family at Pleasant View Cemetery, Amboy. Visitation time will be one hour prior to services at the church. Spencer-Owen Funeral Home of Winnebago is in charge of arrangements.

Janet was born April 7, 1943 in Winnebago, MN, the daughter of Herman Juergens and Elsa (Benton) Juergens. She was a graduate of Amboy High School. On November 13, 1960, she married Harlan E. Belgard. They were married for 65 years. Together they went deer hunting, camping and were avid fisherman. They enjoyed playing cards together and with others. Janet was a member of the Eastern Star. Janet worked as a beautician for many years and had her own beauty shop in Garden City. She went on to be a Rural Route Carrier for 30 years.

She is survived by her children, Kelly Belgard, Mitch Belgard (Sandy). Three Grandchildren, Tony Ferra (Savanna), Joe Fiacco (Natasha), and Jaime Fiacco. Five Great Grandchildren, Eli, Oliver, Isaac, Leela and Adelynn. Nieces and Nephews. Sister Connie Lane of Minneapolis, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Patricia Juergens.
