Edna Mae Schroeder
Edna Mae (Davis) Schroeder, age 97, died Thursday, January 9, 2020 at her home in Waldorf, surrounded by family. A funeral will be held Monday, January 13, 2020 at 10:30 AM at First Lutheran Church in Waldorf. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Edna was born May 29, 1922, in McPherson Township in Blue Earth County to Lemuel and Clara (Doss) Davis. She was married to Donald A. Schroeder on December 16, 1946.
Edna worked at various jobs throughout her life, working the longest at Eisen's Meats and EF Johnson. Her pride and joy was being a good wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was very faithful and a longtime member of First Lutheran Church in Waldorf.
Edna is survived by Donna (Thomas) Traynor of Waldorf, MN, Dennis (Diane) Schroeder of Waldorf, MN, Arlie (Marcia) Schroeder of Mankato, MN, Don Schroeder of Eagle Lake, MN, Daniel (Nancy) Schroeder of Merrill, IA, Jodi Schroeder Beers of Waldorf, MN; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald, in 2001; her daughter, Betty, in 2013; son-in-law Larry Beers, in 2011.
The family of Edna would like to thank the St. Croix Hospice for all of their help and support. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to an organization of the donor's choice.

To the Schroeder family...
Edina was a special and very pretty lady. Her kindness was shown to us many times over the years. She was a hard worker who treasured her family. We are thankful and honored to have known her. You are all in our thoughts.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and your families. Aunt Edna was a wonderful person . I will miss visiting with her on the phone . But I will remember our last visit on the phone Monday . I no she is home now with all her love ones that she has been away from for so many years. May you Rest In Peace aunt Edna until we see each other again . Sending you all a hug and love 💕.
