Deane Olson Obituary
St. Peter - Deane Olson, a former U.S. marine who served in Korea, passed away on February 22, 2025. He was born in Drayton, N.D. to Frieda and Eddie Olson on December 17, 1935. Deane was preceeded in death by his brother Gerald (Judy) and sister-in-law Judi Bolger.
He is survived by his wife Kristin, sons Ken (Don) and David (Elaina), daughter Tami and granddaughters Mataya and Eliana. Deane is also survived by his brothers Alan (Denise) and Terry (Judy), sisters-in-law Jan (Tony) Rogness, Lynn (Gregg) Dale, and many nieces and nephews.
Deane's family would like to express our gratitude to the caring staff of the St. Benedictine managed care facility and the St. Croix Hospice.
A service of Remembrance will be held at Grace Lutheran Church at 11AM on Saturday, May 24th.
