Lake Crystal, MN - Connie Mae Christianson, 76, of Lake Crystal, passed away at home on June 9, 2026. Funeral services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, Lake Crystal, on Friday, June 26, at 2:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior. A private interment will follow at Butternut Cemetery.
Connie was born May 5, 1950, in Mankato to Alice and Owen Langlie and was baptized at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She attended Nicollet School and graduated from Mankato High School in 1968.
On September 9, 1972, she married Martin Christianson. Together they raised their family and spent the last 30 years in the family home. She dedicated many years to providing daycare for local families and also worked at Carlson Craft and Paper Box.
Connie was a longtime member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Butternut and later Zion Lutheran Church in Lake Crystal, where her faith provided comfort and community.
She is survived by her sons Jesse (Kelli), Matthew, and Philip (Pamela); grandchildren Nicholai, Lucas, Kyle (Destiny), Kaylea (Armando), and Noah and great-grandchildren Braxton, Quinnleigh, Nash, and Bode; sister Janet Goff; sister-in-law Joanie Langlie; and several nephews and a niece, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Marty; parents; parents-in-law Ernest and Doris Christianson; uncle Arthur; siblings David and Gladys; nephew Wayne, and infant grandson Owen.
