Mankato, MN - Claudia Fay Vosbeck of North Mankato was born November 8, 1935, to Claude A. and Elsie W (nee Schuenemann) Vosbeck and died on July 25, 2025. She was totally convinced by faith that after this life of joys and sorrows, accomplishments and failures, she is now living eternally in heaven. She knew this was possible not because she earned or deserved it, but because Jesus died in her place. She now lives with him.
Claudia graduated from Bethany Lutheran College - High School department in Mankato in 1953 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Mankato State Teachers College in 1956. She worked as a research chemist at the National Bureau of Standards in Washington, D.C. In 1981, she was awarded a Department of Commerce Bronze Medal.
Claudia retired in 1990 and returned to Minnesota. Claudia was an active member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran. She enjoyed creating beautiful banners for the church.
Claudia traveled extensively and also enjoyed sewing, quilting and collecting Carnival Glass.
Claudia was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by cousins, her St. Paul's family, neighbors and friends.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on August 11, 2025, at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in North Mankato. MN. Per Claudia's wishes, there will be no visitation. She was buried at Woodland Hills Cemetery on July 28, 2025.
