Clair "Weasel" Huettl, age 75, of North Mankato, died on November 27, 2020 at his home.

A visitation will be held on January 10, 2021 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery at a later date.

Clair was born on December 17, 1944 in Mankato to Roman and Mary (Johnson) Huettl. He graduated from Loyola High School in 1962. Clair was a Seabee in the United States Navy from 1962-1966. After his military service he worked at Neubert Millwork and then worked for the Chicago Northwestern Railroad for 18 years. He worked for ISD77 for 16 years, retiring from East High School as the head custodian. Clair enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved sports, playing football and softball in his younger years. Most of all, Clair loved spending time with his family and friends.

Clair is survived by two brothers, John (Karen) Huettl and Bill (Shirley) Huettl all of North Mankato; nieces and nephews, Shon (Samantha) Huettl, Michelle Bybee, Jason (Jessica) Huettl, Kim (Jim) Anderson, and Paul Huettl; and 13 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents and niece, Danielle Mary Huettl.
