Saint Peter, Minnesota - Bryan Lee Herberg, age 56, of St. Peter passed away unexpectedly on June 24, 2025.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m., on Tuesday July 8, 2025 at the St. Peter Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.

Bryan was born on January 27, 1969 to Robert & Cynthia (Jorgensen) Herberg in Mankato MN. Bryan's mother passed away when he was two years old, and his father passed when Bryan was sixteen. Roger & Leona Herberg assisted in raising Bryan and his brother Anthony.

Bryan graduated from St. Peter High school and later Mankato Technical Institute for diesel mechanics. He was a member of St. Peter FFA during high school. He farmed in rural St. Peter, raising corn, soybeans and beef cattle. He was a rural mail carrier for US Postal Service and then employed by Minnesota Security Hospital, St. Peter MN until his retirement in March 2024.

Bryan was many things to many people. He was a brother, counselor, teacher, great listener, amazing farmer, but above all he was a devoted and true friend. Many knew Bryan as a very private person with a big heart. He enjoyed motorcycling trips including ones with Dan to Sturgis and the Lake Superior Circle Tour, horseback riding, Kubota rides and spending time with friends and neighbors. He enjoyed attending farm shows, and was a frequent attendee at Nicollet Café for morning breakfast and conversation. Bryan was always willing to help friends and neighbors when needed.

Bryan is survived by his brother, Anthony; special friend, Angie Thomas and her children, Melvin (Brittany), and Melic; lifelong friend Dan Pettis & wife Maureen, and their children, Mitch & MacKenzie, as well as many other friends and relatives.

Bryan was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Cynthia Herberg, his uncles Roger (Leona) and Dr. William (Irene) Herberg.
