Le Center, Minnesota - BONITA "BONNIE" LOUISE DAVID, age 80, of Le Center passed away at her home on Sunday, June 8, 2025.

Bonnie was born on April 16, 1945, in St. Peter, Minnesota, to Leo and Lorraine (Prochaska) Blaschko. She attended school in Le Center before moving to Sherburn, where she graduated from Sherburn High School. After high school, she attended beauty school and went on to work in various roles throughout her life, most notably spending 23 years with Anchor Glass Container and 15 years at Heat & Glo in Lake City before retiring.

On April 27 1968, Bonnie was united in marriage to Donald David. Together they had two children, Carrie and Corey, and later divorced.

Bonnie enjoyed a full and active life. She loved gardening, cross stitching, dancing, camping, fishing, and traveling to new places. She was a devoted Minnesota Twins fan and cherished spending time with her friends, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was also a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Le Center.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Carrie (Jerome) Goettl of Le Center; son, Corey David of Le Center; daughter-in-law, Kim David of Burnsville; grandchildren, Benjamin Benz, Jeremy (Leah) Benz, Emmalee (Justin) Herring; great-grandchildren, Kolton Benz, Morgan Herring, Grace Bonita Benz; brother, Jack (Audrey) Blaschko of Montgomery; sister-in-law, Darlene David of Montgomery; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Lorraine Blaschko; brother, Wayne (Neva) Blaschko; grandchildren, Marshall and Madison David.

Funeral service for Bonnie will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Scholastica Cemetery in Montgomery at a later date. schoenbauerfuneralhome.com
