Becky (Meyer) Zellmann age 42 of Fargo, ND and formerly Norwood Young America died Wednesday May 25, 2016 at her home surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer.

Funeral service 11:00 AM Wednesday June 1, 2016 at St. John's Lutheran Church (101 SE 2nd Avenue) in Norwood Young America with Rev. Bruce Noennig as officiant. Visitation ALL AT THE CHURCH 4-7:00 PM Tuesday with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service and Wednesday one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.

Rebecca Catharine was born in Sioux Falls, SD on December 1, 1973. Ten days later she became the beloved adopted daughter of Catharine and David Meyer of Naper, NE. Five days later Becky also became a redeemed child of God through the sacrament of Holy Baptism and she confirmed that covenant through confirmation in 1988 with Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."

Becky grew up in the Naper, NE, Wood Lake, MN and Mankato, MN areas before graduating from Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School, rural New Ulm in 1992. In 1993 she graduated from the Cosmetology Training Center in Mankato and has worked as a beautician for twenty two years.

On December 1, 2012 Becky married the love of her life Tim Zellmann in Fargo, ND.

Becky enjoyed vacationing to any place warm, especially Jamaica, Mexico and California. She loved playing cribbage, bonfires and spending time with family and friends. Becky will be remembered for her tremendous faith, outgoing personality, free spirit who always put others before herself.

Becky is preceded in death by her grandparents and brother Mark Meyer.

Becky is survived by her loving family: husband Tim Zellmann of Fargo, ND; children Naomi Kamleiter (special friend: Lincoln Remer) of Norwood Young America, Ashley Zellmann of Norwood Young America, Alex Zellmann of Fargo, ND; grandchildren Levi Remer and Raina Payton; parents David and Cathy Meyer of Mankato; brother Joel Meyer of Mankato; father-in-law and mother-in-law Virgil and Kathy Zellmann of Norwood Young America; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Terry and Pat Zellmann of Norwood Young America, Roxy and Dan Fritz of Cologne; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

Serving as casket bearers Mike Fritz, Matt Fritz, Jacob Raether, Daniel Pauly, Ross Wegener, and Joshua Laak.
