Shirley Jean Warrant, age 84, of Mankato died Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at Pathstone Living in Mankato.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 30, 2017, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Mankato. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. on Sunday at Mankato Mortuary, and continues one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, VINE, or donor's choice.
Shirley was born May 27, 1932, to Edwin and Cornelia (Brandes) Dallmann in Judson Township. She was a 1950 graduate of Lake Crystal High School. On March 25, 1951, Shirley was united in marriage to Robert Warrant at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nicollet. She was a homemaker for her family and was also employed with the School District 77 food service program. Shirley was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed ceramics, playing cards, traveling, watching her children's and grandchildren's sporting activities, and spending time with her family.
Shirley is survived by her four children, Connie (James) Gullixson of Mankato, Thomas (Lori) Warrant of North Mankato, Tammy (Dwayne) Lee of Rochester, and Julie (Kurt) Warrant-Warling of Mankato; eight grandchildren, Brian (special friend, Briana Chermak), Sarah, Eric, and David (Briana) Gullixson, Jenny (Shane) Jandro, John (Aki) Warrant, Daniel (Debi) Lee, and Rachel Lee; five great-grandchildren, Mason, Madelyn, Jaxon, Natsumi, and Jaci; also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert in 2007; and sister, Dorothy (Paul) Larson.
