Pamela J. Johnson, age 63 of Mankato, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 14, 2017.
A Celebration of Pam's Life will be Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 2 P.M. at Woodland Hills Chapel in Mankato with Rev. Mike Omtvedt officiating.
The Johnson Family will greet friends on Thursday from 12:00 P.M. to 2 P.M. at Woodland Hills Funeral Home in Mankato. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
Pamela Jean was born on April 6, 1954 to Douglas and Donna (Arvidson) Smith Sr. in Mankato, Minnesota. She graduated from St. Peter High School. On May 25, 1991 she was united in marriage to Luke Johnson in Des Moines, Iowa. Pam and Luke have lived in the Mankato area their entire married life. She enjoyed camping, riding motorcycle and playing bingo. Pam especially loved time spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Luke Johnson; son, Eric (Melissa) Geisthardt; daughter, Tara Geisthardt; father, Douglas Smith Sr.; mother, Donna Walters; step-son, Shane (Corrin) Johnson; step-daughter, Nikki (Troy Magers) Johnson; brothers, Brett Smith, Bart Smith, Douglas Smith Jr. and Matt Smith; sister, Patrice Drayfahl; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; numerous aunts and uncles.
