Longtime St. Clair, MN resident, Orvis Juliar, 91, died June 23, 2017 in Stuart, Fl. Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15 at Woodland Hills Chapel in Mankato with Rev. Katie Menne officiating. Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
Orvis was born January 21, 1926 in Mankato to Irving and Clara (Oelke) Juliar. He graduated from St. Clair High School and then served in the US Army. On November 17, 1948 he married Marilyn Abbott in Mankato and the couple lived and farmed near St. Clair. Orvis liked fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, Steve Juliar of Montana and Nancy (David) Parkins of Savanah, GA; grandchildren, Jacob and Tim Juliar, Ben Parkins, Abbie Cutrell, Kelly Humphrey and Molly Koop; 5 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Janice (Joe) Linder; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barb Robideau; grandson, Jonathan Parkins; brothers and their wives, Lorin (Arlene) and Virgil (Erma).
