Kay Menton, 54, Mankato, died Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Our Lady Peace Hospice in St. Paul. Memorial services will be held at 11am Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Woodland Hills Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at Woodland Hills. Interment will be at Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato.
Kay was born May 30, 1962 in Mankato to Theodore and Elizabeth (Campbell) Menton. She graduated from Mankato West High School, where she was active in Choir. Kay worked as a type setter at Carlson Craft for over 30 years. Kay enjoyed trivia (especially movie trivia), had an interest in mysteries and the paranormal, loved to go to Italian restaurants with her son, Chris, and enjoyed entertaining her close friends. She had a special love for music. Whether it was singing, listening, or going to concerts, music was an important part of Kays life.
She is survived by her son, Chris Menton of Burnsville; boyfriend, John Weber of Mankato; sisters, Elizabeth Malecha and Patricia Menton; brothers, Mark Menton and Rick Menton; many nephews and nieces; and several close friends.
Kay is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Madison and Elizabeth Menton
