Ivadell J. Ivy (Mrs. Roger) Schwichtenberg, age 81, of Faribault, died on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Kenyon Sunset Home.
Funeral services will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, Faribault on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with the Reverend Robert L. Mundahl officiating. Interment will be at Concordia Cemetery, North Morristown.
Visitation will be held at the church for one hour prior to the services on Saturday.
Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.
Ivadell J., the daughter of John and Florence (Prechel) Leslie, was born on June 16, 1936 in Waseca. She married Roger Schwichtenberg on August 30, 1959 in Waseca. She was formerly employed by Busy Bee Café of Waseca, Andrews Nursery of Faribault and Automated Electric of Mankato. She enjoyed cooking and baking.
She is survived by her husband, Roger; one son, David Schwichtenberg of Kenyon; one sister, Darlette Strand of Waseca; two sisters-in-law, Joann Schwichtenberg of Oak Park, IL and ReLou Schwichtenberg of Waterville; two brothers-in-law, Lowell Hetletvedt of Faribault and Nelmer Morsching of Waterville; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Laura (and Roy) Schultz; two brothers-in-laws, Harland Schwichtenberg and Marlyn Strand; three sisters-in-law, Mayion Hetletvedt, Lorraine Morsching and Arlene (and Ray) Brekke; and one nephew, Daniel Hetletvedt.
