Ulman, Curtis M., peacefully departed from this life on May 24, 2017 at the age of 89. Curt was born to Matt and Ellen (Gustafson) Ulman on 7/19/1927 in Mankato, MN, and the second of three children. He grew up in the Mankato, MN area and there met the love of his life, Ruth Darlene Bogenrief, who became his wife. Curt served in the US Navy and then began a life-long career working for the GTE corporation. His position moved him to many places including Ft. Dodge, IA, Des Plaines, IL, Lexington, KY, Columbus, OH and Jackson, MI. After the passing of his beloved, "Ruthie", he settled in Sun City, AZ to be near his siblings and their families. Curt loved golf, woodworking, socializing and music. His parents,Matt and Ellen, his wife, Ruth Darlene, and two children, Karen and John, precede Curt in death. He is survived by his son, Wayne, daughter, Carol
(Jen) and two granddaughters Erin (Andrew) and Megan. Also surving him is his sister Myrt Nelson, brother, Ken Ulman, Julane Budke (Dick), Wendell Bogenrief (Deloris) and Amy Ulman, along with many nieces and nephews. Curt's family would like to thank Geriatric Resources, especially Crystal Littlejohn, Petra and her staff for providing excellent service to curt during his last years. Also, thanks to Valliant Hospice of Sun City for their attention to his comfort during his last days and to Royal Oaks and Friendship House for providing Curt with his final home.
Services will be held in Woodbury, MN July 1st. Internment will be June 29 at North Lawn Cemetery, Ft. Dodge, Iowa.
