Ron and I were friends since childhood. He was a special person, truly one of a kind. I'll always treasure the memories and stories of his adventures as he moved through life. Many are swirling in my head right now. RIP, Ron.

As a neighbor of Ron and Lois I've known them since I was young. Ron always looked after my brother and I. Whenever a bike chain came lose he was there to fix it. I remember many conversations I had with him on my way home from piano lessons or friends houses. My most memorable moment with him though was one extremely cold winter. I was walking home with my friend and saw him in his garage. I said hi and he noticed my gloves. He looked at me and said "what the hell are you wearing those for? They aren't going to do shit. Come here and I'll get you some real gloves. He gave me deer skin gloves and water proofed them for me. I still have them and wear them every winter. He was a great person a...nd he was always fun to listen to. Our family has many good memories of him and it's always fun to hear the memories others have of him. Though there isn't time to make new memories eitj him the ones he made with other people will last a life time.Read more
