To the Kruger family, we are so saddened by your loss. I (David) with Sheila Finnegen Nottleson, worked with Rick for several years at Ruby Lou’s Holiday Inn in Mankato in the 80’s. Rick was so much fun to work with, always upbeat, smiling, and ready to laugh. We had so many good times behind the bar. I am so sorry we lost touch after several years of living in a different part of the country. I will always have fond memories of Rick, and the time we spent together.

I worked with Ricky at Ruby Lou's/Holiday Inn North, back in the 80's. He was such a great guy. My condolences to his family. RIP Rick. Thanks for always having my back! You were one of the best!

oh....Rick...the memories I have...you and Tim Lupkes were just 8 days apart in your birth...and became such good friends in school...spending time in what would now be called a "man cave" I suppose...but in our basement listening to the tunes you two loved....and talking the hours away.....and then stopping in at Karla's house one summer and talking about those days you said: "Tim and I just listened to music and talked about life....sharing thoughts and dreams...." and it choked me up then and even now as I write this. You were a special "son" to me and I know...without a shadow of a doubt we will see you again...and share many more stories.....and I am most thankful for the fact....that ...thru your friendship with MY sons...your mom and I became friends....a blessing you brought us.....and my prayer now is for all of your family to be comforted by the Lord...and feel HIS touch of healing on the coming days...weeks...and years....because we never forget those we have seen go ahead of us to Glory.....Read more
