Peggy A Rowan
(February 20, 1955 - August 30, 2017)
Peggy A. Rowan, 62, of Burnsville died at home on August 30, 2017. Mrs. Rowan was born February 20, 1955 to Roy and Dorothy (Jarvis) Hewitt in Mankato. She married Ramon Rowan on September 11, 1971 in Mankato. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW #210 and a member of the Savage American Legion Auxiliary #643. She is survived by her husband, Ramon; son, Lenny Rowan of Coon Rapids; two daughters, Laurinda Rowan-Lee of Albert Lea and Tally and her husband, Joseph Rokosz of Superior, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren, six brothers, Ronald Hewitt and his wife, Judy of Little Canada, Donald Hewitt and his wife, Patricia of Roseville, Gary Hewitt and his wife, Sharon of Madison Lake, Larry Hewitt and his wife, Linda of Nicollet, Duane Hewitt of Tonto Basin, Arizona, Howard Hewitt and his wife, Sharon of North Mankato, two sisters, Jeannette and her husband, William Compton of Surprise, Arizona and Paulette Hewitt of Rochester. She was preceded in death by two brothers. Funeral service is 11 AM Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at White Funeral Home Chapel, 12804 Nicollet Ave. So., Burnsville, with visitation 5-8 PM Tuesday, September 5 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Interment will be held at Fort Snelling Cemetery. Celebration of Life will be held following internment at Savage American Legion Post #643, 12375 Princeton Avenue, Savage. Instead of flowers please make a donation to St. Jude's Cancer Research in her memory.
