Patricia Burg Stark

Patricia Burg Stark She celebrated a 67-year Love Story with her "Handsome Hubby" Donald C. Stark. Oh, how she missed her beloved soulmate after he passed on Easter Day 2016. Her fervent Catholic faith buoyed her to carry on fulfilling her commitments to God and to Don through Thanksgiving Day 2018. Their love was further deepened with their six children Daniel, Pamela, Charles, Terry, Kimberly, and Mary Kathryn. Through their passionate respect for nature, they created the environmentally-friendly Stark Farms in rural St. Peter, Minnesota [famously known for its "Pearly Gates"]. Rising to join her heavenly family, she leaves their cherished legacy as well in Lake Worth, Florida. Services include Visitation at St. Peter Funeral Home's Klein Chapel on Thursday, December 6 from 4-7 p.m. with "Shared Memories" invited at 6 p.m.; St. Peter Catholic Church Funeral Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 7; Burial Service follows at Calvary Cemetery and a "Fare-Thee-Well" Reception at Church of St. Peter's Parish Hall.
The youngest of Clement and Gladys Chapple Burg's children, Patricia was lovingly bequeathed all their favorite, yet-unused formal names to become "Gladys Patricia Susan Henrietta Burg" Stark. (She granted only her husband-to-be, Don, special permission to address her simply as "Patsy". Everyone else called her "Patricia" or "Pat".) Patricia met her precious Don at school where her sister Phyllis Burg Lambert taught. He courted her by foot, buggy, car, and airplane until she finally said "Yes"! They were joyfully united in their forever marriage on January 6, 1949. Patricia and Don felt truly blessed completing their family circle of eight to whom they remained lovingly committed. Her dedicated passion for her family was boundless and continued to grow as she joyfully celebrated each new generation. Together with Don, the love-of-her-life, she shared hand-in-hand a love of writing, dancing, arts and culture, painting, and farming, leading her to become a published author of stories involving the natural beauty in children, family, loved ones, farming, environment, everyday occurrences, and history-in-the-making.
Her work completed here, with deep gratitude for her blessed loving memories to both bring forward with her and to leave behind, Patricia closed her eyes envisioning her long-awaited meeting with God and eager anticipation for her next sweet waltz with Don.
