Nadene L. Sandon, age 70, died suddenly, Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato.
A Celebration of Life for Nadene will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Lupus Foundation. Woodland Hills Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Nadene was born December 25, 1946 to Clarence and Edna (Butcher) Goff in Mankato. She was a graduate of Mankato High School, 1964. Nadene married Donald Buzz Sandon July 2, 1966 on the Sandon Farm, Mankato. She was not only a homemaker but a mother and personal care attendant. Nadene was innovative and resourceful. She would recycle, restore and revive anything and everything. Nadene had many hobbies including, swimming, gardening and Community Theater. She also was a roller skating enthusiast; played softball was an artist and seamstress.
Nadene is survived by her husband Donald Buzz Sandon; 4 daughters, Myra Jose (Mike) of Madelia, Gina Sandon (Rob Reynolds) of Austin, TX, Tera Sandon of Mankato and Lona Sandon of Dallas, TX; 4 grandchildren, Nick Jose, Nate Jose, Devon Peoples and Rori Reynolds; brothers, Harley Goff (Janet) of Mankato and Wesley Goff of North Mankato; sister, Barbara Dunker (Larry) of North Mankato; 9 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister, Marlyn Goff.
