Kenneth H. Kroenke, age 88 of St. Clair, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.
A Celebration of Kenneth's Life will be Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 3 P.M. at New Creation World Outreach Church in Mankato, with Pastor David Laughlin officiating.
The Kroenke Family will greet friends on Saturday afternoon from 1:30 P.M. to 3 P.M. prior to services at the church. Woodland Hills Funeral Home of Mankato assisted the family with arrangements.
Kenneth Herman was born on July 27, 1929 to Herman G. and Kathleen V. (Kremer) Kroenke in Minnesota Lake, MN. He graduated from St. Clair High School. After high school he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served his country until his honorable discharge. On February 19, 1961 he was united in marriage to Ramona L. Shelton in Des Moines, Iowa. After their marriage Kenneth and Ramona moved to St. Clair and raised their family. Kenneth was employed with Hendley & Sons in Mankato as a plasterer for many years, and after retirement he worked at St. Clair School as a custodian. He was a longtime member of New Creation World Outreach Church, and the St. Clair American Legion Post #475. He enjoyed playing computer games, cards, and traveling. Kenneth loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Ramona of St. Clair; daughter, Angela Lynn Pierre of Burnsville; son, Daniel Kenneth Kroenke of Pemberton; grandchildren, Alex, Molly, Emily, Aaron, Elizabeth and Michaela; by many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, George, Edward, and David Kroenke.
