Judith "Judy"'s Story
Judith "Judy" Rae Booher, age 77 formerly of Mankato, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at N.C. Little Memorial Hospice in Edina, Minnesota. Judith Rae Larson was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota on March 20, 1940 to Everet and Pearl (Anderson) Larson. She graduated from Glennville High School before attaining her Bachelors of Science in Business Education from Mankato State University. On October 20, 1962, she married Roger Duane Booher at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Austin. Judy was a great mother, wonderful grandmother, and cherished time spent with family and friends.
Survivors include her three daughters, Andrea (Jon) Machalek of Prior Lake, Minnesota, Alecia (Barry Rosenau) Booher of North Mankato, Minnesota, and Angela (Gary Urbanski) Booher of Apple Valley, Minnesota; son, Michael (Allison) Booher of Chicago, Illinois; 6 grandchildren, Britney Rosenau (Boby Azarbod), Brianna Rosenau, Dylan Machalek, Mollie Sheerin, Marissa Machalek, Jocelyn "Josie" Machalek; sister Marianna Larson; brother Tom Larson; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Judith is preceded in death by her parents, Everet and Pearl Larson; and husband, Roger Booher.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin with the Reverend Barbara Finley-Shea officiating. Friends may call at Worlein Funeral Home of Austin from 1:00 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Austin.
