Joseph Dean Becker was welcomed into heaven on March 2, 2018.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Hillside Church, 502 South Victory Drive, Mankato. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Northview - North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Visitation will also continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. www.mankatomortuary.com.
Joseph was born October 18, 1993 in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. Growing up in Wells, MN, he was a very cheerful and adventurous soul. He graduated from United South Central High School and continued his education at Minnesota State University, Mankato where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Corrections. He was employed as a Probation Officer with Blue Earth County where he was highly acclaimed in his profession. He was an extremely kind individual who had a passion for helping others both in his vocation and his community. His zeal for life and contagious smile will be deeply missed.
Joseph is survived and loved by his parents, Hal and Debbie Becker; brother, Micaiah (Kayla) Becker; sister, Kelsey (Andrew) Davis; niece, Jayda Becker; nephew, Eli Becker; grandfather, Harold West and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
The family is honoring Joseph's memory through the designation of monetary gifts in lieu of flowers to: U of M Cystic Fibrosis Research Center and a Legacy Fund for Jayda and Eli Becker, his beloved niece and nephew.
