Dick Lee Pringle, age 80 of North Mankato, died Thursday December 27, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 8, 2018 at Eagle Lake Church of Christ. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Monday at the church. Burial in Hebron Cemetery. Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Dick was born September 12, 1937 to Earl and Elsie (Blank) Pringle in Mason City, Iowa. After graduation Dick served his country in the US Air Force for 28 years with the rank of Senior Master Sargent. Dick retired in Newports News, Virginia. He returned to Mankato where he worked at the Mankato Free Press for many years. Dick was united in marriage to Mary Peterson on June 13, 1992 at the Little Brown Church in Nashau, Iowa.
He was an active member of the Eagle Lake Church of Christ. Dick enjoyed golf and softball.
Dick is survived by his daughter, Angela Pringle and Richard Smith of Tigard, OR; nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary Pringle; two sisters, Bonnie Jean Pitkin and Norma Collins.
