Carmen A. Heinze, age 92 of Mankato, died Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Laurels Peak in Mankato.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday February 19, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato. Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Mankato. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church on Monday. Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements. Memorials to the donors choice.
Carmen A. Heinze was born October 20, 1925 to William J. and Ruby (Mann) Turtle in Wendell, Minnesota. She was united in marriage to LeRoy Heinze on June 25, 1944 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mankato. Carmen worked for the National Bank of Commerce in Mankato for 30 years as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed word puzzles and reading.
Two sons, Gary (Orla) Heinze of Cologne and Terry (Nilda) Heinze of Richfield; four grandchildren, John (Michelle) Heinze, Kristin Heinze, Nathan Heinze, and Justin Heinze; two great grandchildren; Andrew and Rebecca Heinze, siblings, Quentin (Bea) Turtle, Dennis (Mary Jeanne) Turtle, Nancy Rolfs, Joan (John)Yee, and Richard Turtle, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death parents, husband, LeRoy; granddaughter, Coralee; brother, William L. Turtle; sister, Dorothy Otto.
